The importance of Friendship :)

My wife Aleksandra (Ola) Michalik-Czuż and myself have been supporting our friend Damian Matyasik on his filmmaking journey since the very beginning. He is extremely talented, visionary and hard working individual with ultimate can do attitude. We support him always unquestionably as this is what good friends do.

Some time ago, we had a pleasure to watch his 1st short form film debut „Mom Dies Saturday” nearly 30 awards among various festivals worldwide. Fantastic script based on Rafal Niemczyk stories / books.

This Saturday in Warsaw’s Kinoteka we have watched his second short form called „Corpse in Basement”. Another meaningful story by Rafal Niemczyk & pictured by Damian: bits of Franz Kafka The Trial with Lars Von Trier vibe, lots of symbols and a journey form surprise throug disbelief to nearly madness. Anyway - if you get a chance to watch it, please do. Already awarded on multiple festivals!

Stay tuned as this winter we will see a massive commercial debut form Damian and it is going to be epic. We will be there, as always no matter what :)

His debut was in a small movie theatre in Katowice, second premiere in Warsaw PKIN Kinoteka… I would not mind Los Angeles one day 😎it is a matter of time only! I believe in his talent and persistence.
